Hamilton Wireless Broadband …..Business Hamilton ( The Hamilton Business District Committee) to Launch a Free Wireless Broadband service in Beaumont Street.
Hamilton’s Business Hub, Beaumont Street, is set to benefit from a free wireless broadband program through a project developed and implemented by the Hamilton Business District Committee. With Wireless Broadband being the topic of the month with Government, Business and the IT Industry – Business Hamilton is leading the way in developing this innovative project..
The aims of the project include assisting the Hamilton business community to take advantage of the world of e-commerce, attracting a new clientele to Hamilton and offering a range of web based services to Hamilton customers and businesses.
Business Hamilton wanted to spend their money in a way that benefited the local businesses and attracted and developed the customer base. Implementing this high speed free broadband wireless network, the first of its type on the east coast of Australia, will see Hamilton further develop as the premier business location in Newcastle.
Over the next few weeks businesses based in Beaumont street will get further information regarding how the system will work, a how to connect brochure to make it easy for businesses and customers to get onto the system and a brochure detailing the benefits and range of services offered through the system.
The wireless Broadband System will initially be offered to Customers and Businesses in the CBD of Hamilton on Beaumont Street – If the system proves successful the committee will look to further develop the network throughout the Hamilton Area.
